About doctor

Dr. Vincent Tay

Dr Vincent Tay is a Ministry of Health Singapore 🇸🇬 board-certified plastic surgeon practicing both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in Singapore. He was a full consultant with a tertiary public hospital in Singapore before joining Artisan Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery Clinic. He continues to serve as a visiting consultant to the Singhealth restructured hospitals.

Before medical practice, Dr Vincent Tay had a rewarding research career as a defence science scholar and scientist. He has always been passionate about discovering new knowledge and developing innovative protocols. In medicine, he believes that research and innovation can drive better patient care and superior outcomes.

Through his medical training and plastic surgery residency, he continued to garner national awards in recognition of his clinical research in wound healing and fat stem cells.

After his residency in Plastic Surgery, Dr Vincent pursued his aesthetic surgery fellowship at Akademikliniken in Sweden, the largest aesthetic plastic surgery and dermatology chain in Northern Europe. This is where Dr Tay honed his aesthetic surgery techniques pertinent to European/Caucasian patients.

With a commitment to deepen his understanding of Asian aesthetic surgery, he was honored to undergo fellowship stints in China (1st Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, China) in 2018 and then recently at the world renowned BK Hospital in June 2022 in South Korea. These experiences allowed him to integrate his Asian approach with the clinical pearls of his European mentors.

Dr Vincent Tay stays abreast with emerging and current state of the art through involvement in local and international conferences/workshops, and consultancy for the industry. He believes these engagements allow him to deliver the best evidence-based surgical outcomes to his patients.

Dr Vincent performs a wide range of aesthetic procedures and complex reconstructive surgeries. For his aesthetic work, he delights in delivering great results for his patients in blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, body-contouring procedures (liposuction and abdominoplasty) and, especially, aesthetic breast surgery. He enjoys turning back the clock for patients and bringing out the best of one's natural beauty. Like a skilled artisan, he always puts extra effort into creating a bespoke, artistic and evidence-based surgical outcome for his patients .

In reconstructive surgery, he finds the responsibility of restoring form and function, after what trauma or disease has stolen, to be very rewarding and humbling. He is blessed to be able to help change the lives of many of the lesser privileged people by restoring aesthetic normality for them and he has taken part on a few mission trips.

Feel free to contact Dr Vincent Tay to explore how he can help you in your journey towards a successful reconstructive or aesthetic surgery outcome. Schedule a face-to-face consultation with him today!
